Tips on restaurants, bars, cafes in Västerås

Hermanas

One can describe Hermanas as an exploding collage of flamingos, cacti, colorful furniture and decorated skulls. The restaurant may be small, but it holds a lot. With clear influences of Mexico, the Caribbean and South America in the kitchen, it is authentic flavors and traditional cooking that matter. Burritos, tacos and quesadillas are typical dishes on their menu but their selection varies. The food is served on odd porcelain plates and the menu is handwritten on chalkboards.

Blackstone Steakhouse

At Blackstone Steakhouse, you cook your own meat at the table, on a steaming hot lava stone. The stone has a temperature of 400°C when it is laid out and keeps the heat for 30 minutes. Blackstone has focused a lot on the whole experience of the restaurant visit being that you cook your own piece of meat at your table. On Tuesdays, the restaurant has an offer called Sweet Tuesday, which means that they offer a dessert if you buy a main course.
