Museums:

Junibacken

Junibacken is a children's cultural center with the ambition to continue inspiring, creating, and stimulating in Astrid's spirit.
At Junibacken, both adults and children have the opportunity to experience fantastic things together. Music, song, theater, a very large dose of imagination, and creativity are the tools that Junibacken uses. Visit exhibitions, children's theater, the children's bookshop, and have something to eat; there is something for everyone at Junibacken.

Kungliga slottet

Visit the Royal Palace, one of Europe's largest and most vibrant palaces. At the palace, you can explore the treasury with the regalia, Museum Tre kronor where you can learn about the medieval history of the palace, and the State Apartments with grand ceremonial rooms. During the summer, Gustav III's Antiquities Museum and the Palace Church are also open. The Palace Shop and the Changing of the Guard are very popular attractions among visitors to the palace.

Vasa Museum

Nobel Prize Museum

In the middle of the old town, the Nobel Prize, Alfred Nobel, presents the Nobel laureates and their visions. If you want to be inspired by ideas that changed the world, you've come to the right place; with guided tours, interesting films and objects takes you on a journey from idea to Nobel banquet. Bistro Nobel serves Nobel ice cream and Swedish specialties and the shop has something for all ages.

Fly Over Stockholm

Fly Over Stockholm arranges aerial tours over Stockholm where you can decide for yourself what you want to see, this experience is probably not for those afraid of heights. Plan your trip and then take off from Bromma in a Piper PA-28 to get a very unique perspective over Stockholm. The aircraft can accommodate up to three passengers and the flight takes approximately 45 minutes.

Stadshuskällaren

Stadshuskällaren is a classic restaurant downstairs in the city hall in the middle of central Stockholm. Here, Swedish contemporary food is served with inspiration from forest and land. The restaurant opened in 1922, is one of the city's oldest and has a strong tradition of cooking and dining culture. The City Hall's premises are furnished by the Swedish designer Jonas Bohlin, who has carefully mixed contemporary Swedish design with the original 1920s interior.

Gazza

Gazza is a spaghetti restaurant with artisanal pasta at its heart and a varied menu that can include anolini, small saucers filled with liquid parmesan, lardo and sage, or ravioli with rabbit ragu. For those who don't fancy pasta, there is stracciella cheese, charcuterie and carne cruda - Piedmontese raw beef. Be sure to book in advance as the venue fills up quickly.

Fåfängan restaurang och café

Fåfängan has both outdoor and indoor seating. The outdoor dining area has one of Stockholm's most beautiful views over Djurgården and Gamla stan and is framed by cut linden trees. The indoor restaurant is open every weekend all year round and serves a very popular and rewritten brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. Fåfängan is located on the mountain near Danviken, as far east as you can get on Södermalm in Stockholm.

Nour

The restaurant Nour serves up to 28 guests in an intimate yet stylish atmosphere that can be described as alternative fine dining. Nour's head chef Sayan Isaksson, known for the Michelin-starred Esperanto and Imouto, describes the restaurant's feel as 'coming home for dinner at a friend's house.' The kitchen uses ingredients that follow the changes of all seasons and is Nordic with Japanese influences.
